College Event Entertainment Testimonial – University of Delaware

University of Delaware
Student Centers Programming Advisory Board
230 Trabant University Center
Newark, DE

Dear Jeff,

Thank you so much for emceeing our spring comedy show, Back For Laughs! It was such a fun show, and the audience really enjoyed your performance. You’re very skilled at what you do as an emcee, an entertainer, and a comedian. You fit right in with our stand-up comedy acts! Your tricks and stunts gave our event life and really got the audience involved. I know that everyone that attended the show loved it. I speak on behalf of all of the Back For Laughs coordinators when I say that we’re definitely glad that we booked you at NACA. You were also an absolute pleasure to work with, and you made our jobs as coordinators very easy (and fun!). You were very professional and accommodating and we all really appreciate it.

I hope you had as much fun at the show as we did!

College Event Entertainment Testimonial- University of Pennsylvania

Dear Jeff,

On behalf of The Penn Law JD/MBA Association, I just wanted to tell you again how much we enjoyed your recent performance at the school.  You put on an excellent show and were instrumental in our efforts to raise money in support of our charitable cause, Music for Tomorrow.  So many students that attended have told me how amazed they were with your stunts and how much fun they had.  They also want to know when you will be coming back next year!

Jeff, I was personally blown away by your show – it provided a perfect mix of comedy, crowd involvement, incredible juggling and other impressive feats of dexterity.  I think watching you get out of that straightjacket on a unicycle was my favorite part!  Overall, I thought the delivery was spot-on and the acts creative and original.  I had heard about how talented you were but Comedy in Action completely exceeded my expectations and I’m so glad we did it.  I also really enjoyed working with you and Tim on organizing the event.  Everything was highly professional and you guys made the process easy.

We hope to host you again in the future and wish you the best of luck.

Warn regards,

Christian Littlejohn
Executive Vice President
The Penn Law JD/MBA Association

Las Vegas Show – Amazing Jonathan at The Harmon Theater

The Amazing Jonathan’s apprenticeship with the mystical arts began the moment his teenage self stepped into a magic shop and fell in love. With more passion than direction, fate led him to street magic legend Harry Anderson, who inspired his act with a light heart and a clever wit. But what really makes The Amazing Jonathan’s Vegas show the most successful and longest running comedy magic routine in our solar system is his darkly-twisted sense of humor and the grenades of shock and awe that seem to burst apart at every unexpected moment.

Jonathan doesn’t need a cape, a wand, a deck of cards or a polished execution. His magic comes from the self — an unrestrained personality with an acerbic wit and a disturbingly amusing approach to his craft. Join Jonathan at a Las Vegas show filled with eye-popping pleasantries such as exploding birds, flying babies, and very unlucky volunteers as the master of self-immolation redefines the genre and reminds his legion of fans why they refer to him as “The Freddy Kreuger of Comedy.”

Las Vegas Show – Human Nature at The Imperial Palace

When famed songwriter Smoky Robinson first heard pop sensation Human Nature‘s a cappella rendition of his enduring classic “Ooh Baby Baby,” he realized the untapped potential of a fusion of their sonic graces and the soul-searching harmonies of Motown.  ”Smokey Robinson Presents Australia’s Human Nature — The Ultimate Celebration of Motown” is the result of mutual admiration and boundless talent, and a Las Vegas show that proves that diversity makes us stronger.  The newly remodeled Imperial Palace Showroom sets the stage for Human Nature’s perfect pitch and tone, as they deliver Motown’s emotional classics with the same acoustic proficiency that earned them legendary status in their home country and abroad.

[youtube= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evskwHR12UU]

True talent recognizes its peers, and Smoky’s own words are quite telling: “I grew up with Motown where the standard for talent was so high. When I saw these guys I was blown away.”  You will be too. Without special effects or audio enhancements, Human Nature puts on a Vegas show with an established reputation for the purity of their vocals and the amazing kinship their sound shares with that of Smokey’s legacy.  Sometimes singers and songs were made for each other, and when they finally find a common venue, magic is the inevitable result.

St. Louis Fox 2 Morning Show

I popped on the St. Louis Fox 2 morning show for a few minutes when I was in town hosting the National Association of Campus Activities Conference Showcase.  We talked about joggling, we threw some clubs around.. pretty random, but fun!

Charity Event Entertainment Testimonial- Events for Change

“Jeff, I wanted to personally thank you for lending your talents as Emcee for our second annual Orlando Chili Cook-Off on February 26, 2011. This was our first year having a professional Emcee and you jumped right in with almost no direction and did such a great job. Your idea to interact with our chili cooks and engage the crowd during the times you weren’t needed on stage introducing bands and giving out awards was perfect. We had several sponsors comment on what an asset you were and that you truly brought a level of professionalism to our event. Next time we hope to take full advantage of your amazing juggling skills in addition to you being the Emcee.

For a second year event we were thrilled with the overall success. We had 8,000 people walk through the doors and were able to raise $27,500 for Special Olympics Florida. This wouldn’t have been possible without our sponsors and people like you who shared their time and talents with us.”

My best,

Nadia Roberts
Vice President

Producing the Orlando Chili Cook-Off
