Win-Win Entertainment pairs Turf with TIP

Win-Win Entertainment pairs Turf and Trauma Intervention Program for fundraising event.

Turf was a quarter-finalist in this past America’s got talent, and brought his dancing from the San Francisco streets to the Las Vegas strip. He has been opening for me and is a great addition to the team. Turf has performed at a few Win-Win events so we hope to see him back in the future! The event, organized by Jill Bernacki, was filled and was a great success. Jill heard about Win-Win Entertainment from a board member of another non-profit and got in contact shortly after.  Jill described her experience with Win-Win: “It was a great experience from the beginning too end. There was no way we could have done it without Win-Win!” She liked the idea of using Turf to represent the flexibility required by all TIP volunteers during the their work.

Win-Win Entertainment provides entertainment for another successful fundraiser, and that’s just the TIP of the iceberg!

Win-Win Entertainment Event | Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada | 2013 Heart of Hope Luncheon

By Jeff's Non-Profit: Win-Win No Comments

Win-Win EntertainmentOn February 7, Win-Win proudly assisted Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada with its 2013 Heart of Hope luncheon.  The event honored some amazing members of the community, including Gustav and Denise Mauler and the Fertitta Family Foundation.  Win-Win arranged for a show-stopping performance by BBR Las Vegas, a talented trio of young women whose voices harken back to the golden age of groups such as The Andrews Sisters, but with a sophisticated, seductive twist.  BBR (Brunette, Blonde & Redhead) features Anne Martinez, Savannah Smith, and Tara Palsha.  We’re honored to have the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, one of the largest private nonprofit social service providers in the state.  The organization provides help and creates hope for untold numbers of people in need in our community, regardless of their religious or economic backgrounds.

Win-Win Entertainment Event | St. Jude’s Ranch for Children | Night of Lights

By Jeff's Non-Profit: Win-Win No Comments

Win-Win EntertainmentOn December 8, 2012, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children hosted its sixth annual Night of Lights holiday event, and Win-Win was onboard to help make the event a success, all to benefit this nonprofit doing such wonderful work with abused and abandoned children.

The Night of Lights event creates a welcoming place for families to enjoy entertainment and holiday activities, while providing St. Jude’s Ranch an opportunity to raise funds to support its programs.

Win-Win was honored to contribute a professional quality sound system for the Night of Lights stage, as well as a giant, inflatable slide in the shape of a polar bear.  Families also enjoyed carolers, arts and crafts, making s’mores over fire pits, photos with Santa and more.

Those in attendance at Night of Lights were also treated to a jaw-dropping appearance by Turf, a friend of Win-Win who dazzles audiences with his talent as a dance contortionist.

Our community partnerships with nonprofits like St. Jude’s Ranch for Children result in dramatic, tangible results for those in need.  Funds raised at Night of Lights go toward transforming the lives of at-risk children and their families, providing new choices, and as importantly, hope.

Learn more about St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, and we look forward to working with this worthwhile organization again soon.

Jeff Civillico’s ‘Win-Win Entertainment’ to offer a star-studded benefit event

By Jeff's Non-Profit: Win-Win No Comments

Cari Hahn, Examiner.com

Fans of magician Nathan Burton might recognize the name Jeff Civillico. Jeff performs his feats of juggling prowess during the Nathan Burton Comedy Magic Show. Jeff also headlines the “Comedy in Action” show at the The Linq. “Comedy in Action” is produced by none other than Nathan Burton, himself. Jeff has recently requested special performances from several of his peers in order to introduce his non-profit organization–Win-Win Entertainment–to the public at 2:00 p.m. in the South Point Q Theater on October 28.

It is the mission of Win-Win Entertainment to match professional entertainers which are willing to donate their time and talents with eligible, approved charities nationwide. Win-Win Entertainment is the project with heart founded by Jeff Civillico. Win-Win describes itself as existing in order to connect good causes that need something with good people willing to do something. During the infancy period of Win-Win Entertainment, Jeff requires sponsorship, performers, charitable institutions . . . and the attendance of an excited Las Vegas community.

Jeff Civillico believes that people have the desire to give back if they are presented with the opportunity to do so. Sunday offers the chance for Las Vegas readership to become involved in a worthy, charitable gathering in need of community participation. Members of the public are invited to attend a very special inaugural benefit event at the South Point Casino. For the exceptional price of $30 audience members will watch astounding performances by The Las Vegas Tenors, The Australian Bee Gees Show, Nathan Burton, The Skating Aratas, Russ Merlin, Turf and the Coppola Rhythm Ensemble. VIP booth seats are also available for $100. The VIP booths seat 4 people and include 4 drink tickets.

When asked to what did he attribute his affinity for helping others, Jeff responded:

My first show, anywhere, was at Don Guanella Village. Don Guanella is a special needs school. Performing for them is very honest. They will yell at you from their chairs, clapping . . . and they will throw chairs at you if they hate you. That was where the idea for Win-Win came from. My parents, and my University, are also big into service and becoming a man for others has been important to me.

Jeff reflected on our conversation for a few moments before quietly adding:

I just want to do some good stuff while I’m here.

To do what you can to support Jeff’s admirable project, please plan on attending this unique inaugural benefit event at 2:00 p.m. on October 28. The show is sure to be a Win-Win experience for each and every audience member.

The South Point Q Theater inside the South Point Casino.

Calling for Win-Win Entertainment Launch Event Sponsors

By Jeff's Non-Profit: Win-Win No Comments

Many of you are aware that last year I founded a new non-profit in Las Vegas that exists to match performers with charity events.  Win-Win Entertainment has been working behind the scenes since July 2011, providing entertainment for charities including The Shade Tree, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, Aid for Aids Nevada, Lili Claire Foundation, and many others.  http://win-winentertainment.org/

On October 28th, we are inviting the non-profit community here in Las Vegas to come see what we do!  We are in the midst of planning a fabulous 2pm matinee show in the South Point Q Theater which will feature many different Las Vegas Headliners coming together on one stage for charity.  We will be announcing confirmed entertainers soon.

Please note: Win-Win Entertainment is not an agency, but rather a platform that enables two different groups to connect, i.e. we do not charge to provide entertainers at charity events.  Our Launch Event will be the only event this year in which we will be raising money for our own operating costs.

We are seeking event sponsors at this time.  We have a variety of different options (sponsorship deck attached – click on “read more”).  Our deadline for sponsorships is October 19th.

Thank you for your consideration!  Please pass this email on to any individual or company who may be interested in supporting the creation of a philanthropic entertainment network here in Las Vegas and beyond.

Win-Win Entertainment is a non-profit I created to match professional performers with charities in need of entertainment.

Win-Win Entertainment Event | “JYD P.R.O.J.E.C.T.”

By Jeff's Non-Profit: Win-Win No Comments

Win-Win Entertainment recently worked with former NBA player Jerome Williams and his non-profit, JYD P.R.O.J.E.C.T.Win-Win Entertainment with Jerome Williams

Win-Win Entertainment is a non-profit I created to match professional performers with charity events.

I met Jerome Williams through the Georgetown Club of Las Vegas, of which he is a member.  After playing for the Georgetown Hoyas (1994-1996), Jerome played in the NBA for 10 seasons across 4 teams.  He was a fan favorite because of his work ethic.  His tenacity on the court earned him the nickname “The Junkyard Dog” by announcer Rick Mahorn in his early days on the Detroit Pistons.

Jerome Williams not only is a basketball legend, but is well known for helping children around the world.  It is with the same determination he was known for on the court, that he created JYD P.R.O.J.E.C.T. off the court.  JYD P.R.O.J.E.C.T. supports children’s education projects in Southern Nevada and around the world.  They are dedicated to changing the lives of at-risk children, one student at a time.  Their vision is to motivate youth to excel academically, sustain a healthy lifestyle, and increase their spiritual faith by working with community partners, educators, and professionals.

Jerome showed interested in Win-Win Entertainment when I told him about the concept many months back.  With his “Finish Line Dinner,” held in the Q Theater at South Point Casino, we now had the chance to collaborate.  This “Rally For Kids” honored those who have made an impact on children in the Southern Nevada community.  I closed out the event with 25 minutes of comedy.

Win-Win Entertainment is proud to support JYD P.R.O.J.E.C.T. and their efforts in the community.  Thanks for all you do, Jerome!

Win-Win Entertainment Event: St. Jude’s Fundraiser at RetroSpecs

By Jeff's Non-Profit: Win-Win No Comments

Win-Win Entertainment recently worked with St. Jude’s Ranch by providing entertainment for their fundraiser at RetroSpecs at The Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino.Win-Win Entertainment with DJ Donny

I created Win-Win Entertainment to be a philanthropic entertainment network for charity events in Las Vegas and beyond.

This is the second time Win-Win Entertainment has worked with St. Jude’s Ranch for Children.  We are happy to be building a relationship with such a wonderful organization.  St. Jude’s strives to break the cycle of child abuse by serving abused, abandoned, and neglected children in a safe, homelike environment.  Earlier this month, we provided entertainment for their annual Easter Egg Party.  We provided magician from The Flamingo Armando Vera, as well as sound gear, the emcee, and costume characters including the Easter Bunny.

This time we were lucky enough to get DJ Donny Wellington there for us to spin the tunes!  I met DJ Donny during my stint performing at Planet Hollywood Restaurant in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.  Donny is a fantastic DJ, and a wonderfully warm and caring person.  He’s the kind of guy who always makes you feel better no matter what kind of day you’re having, and I’m happy to call him a friend.  Thanks for supporting Win-Win Entertainment, Donny!

RetroSpecs is a really cool store!  Check them out if you’re in the area.  Their mission is to preserve and share the revolutionary designs and unparalleled quality of early modern eyewear manufactured during the 1870s – 1970s.  They had hors d’oeuvres, champagne, and best of all– 50% of the day’s eyewear sales went to benefit St. Jude’s.

Win-Win Entertainment is dedicated to matching professional entertainers with charities nationwide.  We look forward to working with St. Jude’s again soon!
